Meat Messaging Search API

The Meat Messaging Search API provides a simple method to retrieve the data associated with a carton/ case of meat as well as the consignment related to the carton/case.

There are two search APIs available (Method: GET):

• For a JSON payload: https://meatmessaging.info/api/json/{API KEY}/{S/EARCH VALUE}
• For an XML payload: https://meatmessaging.info/api/xml/{API KEY}/{S/EARCH VALUE}

The parameters related to the search include:

• A 12 character API key (also referred to as the 'Meat Messaging Company Email Send Code') shown on the company page.
• Search value.

The search value can be:

• Complete carton barcode eg 01993399980248323102002720131911092199999
• Message SSCC eg 0019331999840432829 or without 00 prefix 19331999840432829
• Health Certificate eg 929999 or with 0 padding such as 0009275612
